Shaped using traditional bronze dies, this pasta develops a subtly textured surface that gently clings to sauce for a fuller flavour. Made from 100% premium durum wheat semolina, it is crafted in Corato, in Italy’s Puglia region—renowned for producing the country’s finest durum wheat—by the Mastromauro family, who have been creating authentic pasta with care and passion since 1967, using time-honoured methods passed down through generations.
Spaghettoni is distinguished by its thicker strands and firm bite, offering a satisfyingly robust take on classic spaghetti.
HOW TO USE
- Cook on the hob in 12 minutes till al dente.
- Pour our delicious napoletana pasta sauce, imported from Italy, onto your cooked spaghettoni and top with some freshly grated parmesan cheese.
- Pairs beautifully with rich, slow‑cooked sauces that cling to its thicker strands.
- Serve with a classic beef ragù, a garlic‑scented tomato sugo, or a simple olive oil and chilli dressing finished with aged Pecorino for a generously flavoured, comforting pasta dish.
