Shaped using traditional bronze dies, this pasta develops a subtly textured surface that gently clings to sauce and is made from 100% premium durum wheat by a family‑owned producer established in 1930 in Corato, Puglia region in Southern Italy. 

Farfalloni pasta is recognised by its larger, butterfly‑shaped form, designed to capture pieces of sauce within its folds.  Its generous shape is particularly well suited to hearty, chunky sauces, delivering a satisfying and authentic Italian pasta experience.

 

HOW TO USE

  • Cook on the hob for 9 - 11 min or until al dente
  • This farfalloni pairs beautifully with rustic vegetable sauces, slow‑simmered tomato ragùs or creamy mushroom preparations. 
  • The wide surface and folds hold both sauce and texture, making it ideal for comforting, generously flavoured dishes finished with fresh herbs and aged Italian cheese
