Make your own Bircher muesli pot by adding coarsely grated apple, apple juice, yoghurt and cinnamon to raw rolled oat. Mix well and allow to stand in the fridge overnight. In the morning, serve with fresh fruit and nuts.

To create rolled oats, the groats are steamed and passed through rollers to be flaked and dried. Rolled oats cook faster than steel-cut oats and hold their shape relatively well during cooking. In addition to being used for breakfast, rolled oats are commonly used in granola bars, cookies, muffins and other baked goods.

HOW TO USE

  • Make your favourite pot of Bircher muesli or get your bake on and make your favourite baked treat.
  • To make a warm porridge, it can be boiled for 5 - 7 minutes on the hob or for 2 - 4 minutes in the microwave.
