This pesto is made to a traditional Italian recipe, using Italian red peppers, almonds, Pecorino Romano DOP and Calabrian chillies. The chillies are grown in the region of Calabria, in the South of Italy and are known for their fruity, sweet and smoky heat.

HOW TO USE

• Heat level my vary due to the nature of chilli used. Oil will separate on standing, stir through before use.
• Stir before use. This fiery pesto is perfect as a spread on crusty bread or focaccia with mozzarella or burrata, or stirred through warm pasta with extra Pecorino Romano.
• Store in a cool, dry place. Refrigerate after opening and use within 7 days
