• The mussels have been cleaned and steamed before freezing. Whole mussels typically open during steaming, however, some may remain closed. If unopened mussels are found, these can be carefully prised open with a knife and cooked with the rest of the mussels. Please be aware that this product may contain broken shells. These mussels have been cleaned and debearded, but some stubborn beards may still be present.
