Thai red curry is nicknamed 'spicy curry' in Thailand and is named after it red-coloured appearance, originating from the large amount of red chillies used in creating this aromatic paste. Combined with coconut milk, this paste creates a curry that is packed with the flavours of garlic, lemongrass, red chillies, shallots, galanga; and Thai lime peel (also known as makruti).
