This Pinot Meunier 2022 embodies the creative spirit of our master craftsmen, offering a unique expression of our commitment to excellence.
Crafted from a blend of 70% Robertson and 30% Elgin fruit, this pioneering Cap Classique showcases our dynamic approach. The base wine harmoniously combines fermentations from four distinct vessels: neutral French oak barrels, terracotta amphorae, ceramic pots, and stainless steel tanks, with 25% fermented in each of these four vessels. In a first for South African Pinot Meunier Cap Classique, we employed the Agrafe method for secondary fermentation, using cork instead of the traditional crown
cap.
