Pink pepper-and-pecan praline

Ingredients

  • camembert
  • 100 g pecan nuts, chopped
  • 200 g Canola oil
  • a good pinch pink peppercorns

Cooking Instructions

  1. Melt 200 g sugar in a pan until golden brown, then pour onto baking paper to make a thin disc of caramel.
  2. Sprinkle with 100 g chopped pecan nuts and a good pinch of crushed pink peppercorns while still hot, then allow to cool completely to set.
  3. Crush over ripe Camembert to serve.
