Blueberry jam

Ingredients
- 100 g blueberries, halved
- 300 g white sugar
- 5 star anise
- lemon juice

Cooking Instructions
- In a medium saucepan over low heat, slowly bring the berries, sugar and star anise to a simmer, stirring gently.
- Simmer for 45 minutes, taking care not to let the mixture burn.
- Remove from the heat and stir in the lemon juice. Return to the heat for 5 minutes.
- Strain into sterilised jars.
