Our coffee journey

At Woolies, we know that you take your coffee seriously – and we do, too. To make sure that we continue bringing you the best blends and richest roasts from the world’s top suppliers, we travelled to Tanzania last year.

Coffee trees or shrubs are best grown in tropical regions around the equator, as they need moderate rainfall, warm temperatures, and plenty of sunlight. This is exactly the conditions we found there. We also found dedicated farmers and a culture heaving with the energy of the crop, we reinvigorated our passion for the drink.
