This summer, we’re throwing some trout on the grill
Your fish braai just got a whole lot easier – get your hands on a whole stuffed trout, and then all you need is a side (or two). And by side, we basically mean some runner beans, charred on the grill. DONE.
Easy fish braai:
Brush both sides of Woolworths Lemon & Herb Stuffed Trout with a little olive oil to prevent it from sticking to the grid.
Place it on a closed braai grid 10 cm above moderate coals. Braai for 25 minutes, turning the grid every few minutes, until cooked through. Add fresh, long runner beans to the hot grid to char slightly for 3–5 minutes.
For some more summery freshness, make a quick corn salad with mixed marrows and peas: Chargrill sweetcorn over smouldering coals until just lightly charred. Toss with thinly sliced mixed marrows, marinated in olive oil and lemon juice. Season, then top with sliced pink onions and blanched peas. Dig in!
