This sustainable farmer looks to the future

Meet Jimmy Botha, a passionate farmer who is based in the Magaliesburg region, and is part of the Farming for the Future programme. Jimmy believes that living well means eating well, and eating well means taking care of the environment today. He is fully committed to the practice of sustainable farming, which to him means, “preserving our water, looking after our soil, and preserving our resources” to secure food for the generations to come. He has seen first-hand that responsible farming promotes healthy soil, which not only allows crops to thrive, but it brings us all one step closer to building a better, sustainable future.
