Best-ever creamy Tenderstem™ bake

Now there’s no excuse not to eat your greens – behold this TenderstemTM broccoli bake with Parmesan cream and crispy bacon. Basically, the best thing that ever happened to broccoli.

Creamy baked Tenderstem™:

Soften 4 sliced leeks in melted butter with 3–4 sliced cloves of garlic.  Add 3 tubs of cream, simmer for 5 minutes, then add a good grating of fresh nutmeg and a few handfuls of Parmesan. Season and let simmer. Blanch two 400 g bulk packs of Tenderstem™ in salted boiling water for no longer than 30 seconds. Arrange in an ovenproof dish. Pour the garlicky Parmesan cream all over, add a few more sliced leeks and more Parmesan (just because), and scatter with pine nuts. Bake at 200°C for 15–20 minutes until bubbly and lightly golden. Meanwhile, pan fry streaky wood smoked bacon until crispy. Crush over the broccoli bake and serve hot on toasted ciabatta, with a dusting of Parmesan – perfect for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
