The never never plant (Ctenanthe spp.) is a striking tropical houseplant with oblong, lance-shaped leaves patterned in stripes, spots, or splashes of color. Native to Brazil’s rainforests, it is easy to grow indoors and famously folds its leaves at night, a rhythmic movement called nyctinasty, within the prayer plant family.

 

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

• Keep in bright but indirect sun preferably by a north-facing window.
• Keep soil moist and allow to dry out between watering, taking care not to overwater.
• The plant can be kept indoors, on the patio, or in the garden
