Boplaas Cape Vintage Port wine is crafted from full-ripe Portuguese varietals fermented in traditional open fermenters, known as lagares, with intense manual grape-stomping; fortifying at the correct moment with the finest grape spirit and maturing in barrels for the appropriate length of time according to the style, prior to meticulous blending and bottling. 

This dark Port has flavours of cherries, plums, blackberries, violets, peppers, spice and dark chocolate. It is full-bodied, has ripe tannins, with a long and luscious after-taste.
