Farfalloni pasta is recognised by its larger, butterfly‑shaped form, designed to capture pieces of sauce within its folds. Made from 100% premium durum wheat, it is produced in Italy’s Puglian region and extruded through traditional bronze dies, creating a gently rough surface that enhances flavour. Its generous shape is particularly well suited to hearty, chunky sauces, delivering a satisfying and authentic Italian pasta experience.

 

HOW TO USE

  • Cook on the hob for 9 - 11 min or until al dente
  • This farfalloni pairs beautifully with rustic vegetable sauces, slow‑simmered tomato ragùs or creamy mushroom preparations. 
  • The wide surface and folds hold both sauce and texture, making it ideal for comforting, generously flavoured dishes finished with fresh herbs and aged Italian cheese
