Kalanchoe has shine foliage on firm stalks. One of the reasons for the plant's popularity is its long bloom time. The waxy blossoms can last for weey, deep green leaves with scalloped edges and colorful flowers. The flowers grow upright in large clusters that are held a little above thks or months. This sun-loving plant grows to 18 inches tall and wide. It requires little water, making it a good addition to rock gardens.
