A whole boneless dry cured Prosciutto coated with a secret blend of lard and spices. Aged for 20 months.
HOW TO USE
- 4 Easy steps to assemble the stand as per the packaging.
- CARVING INSTRUCTIONS:
- Step 1: Starting at the larger end of the ham, remove the rind and fat layers with a sharp paring knife. Create a flat surface on the left to prepare for slicing. Save the rind and fat as this will be used later.
- Step 2: Using the ham slicing knife provided, begin slicing length-wise. Keep the knife steady and flat to create thin, short slices. Slice with the knife facing away from yourself.
HOW TO STORE YOUR CARPEGNA:
- Unopened: Take the Carpegna leg out of the crate and place into the refrigerator. Use within the best before date indicated on the product.
- Once Opened: To save the rest of your Carpegna leg to enjoy later, place the fat and rind back over the exposed sliced area. Press down firmly to ensure a good seal and then cover with a clean tea towel and store in the refrigerator.Wh
- Once opened, this product must be refrigerated and consumed within 30 days.
- When you would like to slice again, remove the cloth, fat and rind covering the slicing area. Cut off any areas that may have become dry and hard in the refrigerator and enjoy.
