What is Woolies Dash?
Woolies Dash is Woolworths' next-hour delivery app. It lets you order groceries, beverages and household essentials for delivery in the next hour.
The Woolworths diference? This is the only service that uses Woolworths' world-class cold technology – we'll keep your order chilled from Woolies' fridges to yours.
How do I know if i have the latest version of the app?
You're able to view your version by either visitng Google Play, App Gallery or App store and searching for Woolworths.
Where can I download Woolies Dash?
You need to download our Woolies app to use Woolies Dash. If you haven't already, you can download our Woolies app for free from the Apple App Store, Google Play Store and Huawei App Gallery. Your Woolworths online login details can be used on the app as well.
What if no delivery slots are available?
If no delivery slots are available, you can place your order today, for delivery the following day in the available slots.

Your Woolies Dash shopper shops your order and hands it over to the driver to deliver in the timeslot you selected.
What are the operating hours?
Deliveries start from 9am until your local store closes. The slots will vary from area to area, depending on the trading hours of the servicing store.
What can I order on Woolies dash?
Woolies Dash offers a curated selection of Woolworths food and wine favourites. If you can't find what you're looking for, find our full range of products on our Woolies app for next-day home delivery or Click & Collect.
How many items can I order?
There is a basket limit of 35 items.
How much is the delivery fee?
A delivery fee of R35 is charged on all orders.
Is there a minimum amount that I should order?
Yes, a minimum basket value of R 150 is required for checkout.
What payment methods do you accept?
You can pay for your order with any Mastercard or Visa credit card, Woolworths Store Cards, Woolworths Credit Cards as well as Woolworths Gift Cards. Unfortunately we cannot accept American Express, Diners Club, or payment on delivery.
Please note: Some debit cards will allow you to purchase at Woolworths online, but will reflect an outstanding amount in your account for a while after you've received your items. We are working on a solution to this. Please contact our customer service centre for more information.
Will I get WRewards benefits when I use Woolies Dash?
Yes, you will. Please access the Woolworths website via www.woolworths.co.za. On the Home page, under WREWARDS if you look at the sub headings “How it works” and “Tiered Rewards” it will detail how the programme works and all the benefits.
Earn up to 3% back in quarterly vouchers when paying with your Woolies credit card.
How do I link my WRewards card to my Myschool/Myplanet card?
You can contact either the MySchool MyVillage MyPlanet or the WRewards Call Centre and request that they link your card. (This is different from linking any of your other Woolworths cards to your online profile, which you can do yourself at woolworths.co.za).
How do I choose my delivery time?
When you checkout, you'll be able to choose your preferred 1-hour delivery slot.
What do I do if my order didn't arrive on time?

What should I do if there's an issue with the condition of my items?

Can I make changes to my order once I’ve submitted it?
Unfortunately, no changes can be made once your order and payment have been processed.
Are there any special protocols for alcohol deliveries?
Your Woolies Dash shopper will request to see your valid ID when they deliver your alcohol order.
What happens when items are out of stock?
When you checkout, you can decide how you'd like your personal Woolies Dash shopper to handle any out of stock items in your order. They can choose an alternate, similar item for you, they can get in touch with you to suggest something else, or they can leave it out altogether (you won't be charged for items you don't receive).
Am I charged for the brown bags?
No, we don't charge you for the brown bags.
Do you collect the bags to be recycled? Can I give it back to a driver?
Not at this time, watch this space for further developments. However, all our bags can be recycled and we encourage all our customers to do so.
Can I tip the driver?
Yes, you'll have the option to tip your driver at checkout.
How long will a refund take to reflect in my account?
Just like with Woolies online orders, you won't be charged for anything you don't receive. Instead, we'll refund the amount to your card. If your card doesn't allow refunds, we'll contact you to arrange your refund. Refunds take up to 7 days to process. If your refund is taking longer, please contact us, so that we can contact your bank to have the funds released immediately.
Can my refund be paid to an e-wallet?
We don't have e-wallet capability at the moment. Refunds are made to your bank account.
Can I track my order and driver on the app?
You can view your order status, as well as track the driver while en route.
Will I qualify for the in store and online promo's on Woolies Dash?
You will qualify for all online promos. *Please note that promotions in-store and online may vary.
When will I be charged for my order?
When your order is placed, the total amount of the order will be reserved from the account you used. This amount will only be deducted from your account when the order has been processed in store. You will receive a confirmation e-mail when your order is placed, and again when your order has been processed
What happens when there are missing items that are listed on my invoice?
This should not happen. You delivery invoice should only reflect what has been delivered. Please contact us at wooliesdash@woolworths.co.za or call us on 0860 100 987 and we will rectify this
Are products priced the same in store and online?
Yes, product pricing is the same. However only selected promotions are available online.
Where can I view my tax invoices?
Tax invoices are available once your order is successfully completed. You can view your tax invoice by navigating to your Order History and tapping on any of your past orders.
Where can I see my order history?
To view your order history, click on My Account and then My Orders
Can I change my delivery address once my Woolies Dash order has been placed?
Unfortunately, no changes can be made once your order and payment have been processed.
Can I use the Woolies Dash chat for service queries or questions?
No changes can be made to the order via the chat. This is specifically used to discuss possible substitution items, as well as special requests such as expiry dates. Why doesn’t my address appear under the suggested addresses on the suburb selector?
Unfortunately, we aren’t able to deliver to your address at the moment. Please select an alternative address or choose our Click & Collect option at your nearest participating store.
Why is my address appearing as unverified?
This means that we weren’t able to verify this address. To successfully place an order, please update your street address to an address that is available on the Suburb Selector. You can update the address on your profile or you can do it as you check out your ordered items.
How do I add a new delivery address?
You can add a new delivery upfront when you tap on the Dash tab. You can also add a new address at checkout.
How do I know when my order is on its way?
You’ll receive push notifications on your phone, so make sure they're on. You can also view your order status in the app.

Can I buy a gift card on Woolies Dash?
No, gift cards are currently not offered on Woolies Dash.
Is there an option for my order to not be delivered in bags?
No, this is currently not an option. Woolies Dash orders are delivered in heavy-duty paper bags. However, all our packaging is recyclable and we encourage all our customers to do so.
How can I cancel my order?
You can cancel your order in the app if the shopper has not started picking up yet. Once shopping has started you will need to call the contact center on 0860 100 987 to cancel the order.
How long will it take to deliver my order?
Your order should take a maximum of 60 min to be delivered within the time slot you have chosen. Both picking and delivery will happen within that hour to ensure you get the freshest groceries delivered to you.
