Cooking Instructions

  1. Melt chocolate over a pot of simmering water. Be sure that the steaming water does not touch the bowl or the chocolate will seize (like a ghost…well kind off)
  2. Spray and cook the silicone cups, this just helps to ensure the chocolate cups remove easily from the cups, you wont have a problem but a back up is helpful.
  3. Spoon melted chocolate into the cups and brush melted chocolate all up and around the sides of the cup. Place in the freezer to shock set it.
  4. Lightly whip the peanut butter, this makes it easier to work with. And spoon into the set cups. Drizzle with more chocolate and smear it to the edges.
  5. Place in the freezer again.

While the chocolate cups are setting:

  1. Dust a little icing sugar on a surface and roll out the white fondant. Using the larger side of the piping bag cut out circles, this will be part of the eye. Push them out through the smaller hole with a toothpick.
  2. Do the same to the black fondant and make little eyes with the smaller part of the piping nozzle.
  3. Squeeze a little icing onto the small black dot and secure onto the white to make an eye. Continue.

To assemble

  1. Remove peanut butter cups from the moulds and place on a flat surface. Squeeze icing onto two broken in half oreo biscuits and arrange, like wings onto the top of the cup.
  2. Squeeze a little more icing onto the back of each ‘Eyeball’ and arrange onto the cup…like a spooky bat.
