LONG LAZY BRUNCH

Cooking time 25 minutes 

 

Chocolate wreath

Chocolate wreath x 1 

Hazelnuts 100g, chopped 

 

Prepare wreath as per packaging instructions, toast the chopped hazelnuts in a hot pan for 3 - 5 minutes. Assemble the wreath by covering it in chocolate sauce and topping with hazelnuts. 

 

Tropical pineapple and granadilla pavlova 

Pavlova shell x 1

Creme fraiche x 200g or Double cream coconut yogurt

Lemon curd 100g

Granadilla pulp 4 T

White chocolate 200g, melted

White chocolate buttons 100g

Gold shimmer dust, to decorate

Layer the pavlova with dollops of creme fraiche and lemon curd, decorate with shavings oil pineapple and granadilla pulp, decorate with white chocolate buttons and white chocolate shards.

To make the shards. Spread the melted chocolate thinly on greaseproof paper. 

Leave to set in the fridge.

Break into shards.

 

Mosbolletjie 

Serve warm mosbolletjie with honey and raspberry and vanilla jam, eat with a selection of local cheeses

 

Ready to eat sliced gammon with cranberry and apple glaze, cold smoked trout, party platter 

Ready to eat sliced gammon x 1

Shimmer glaze x 1

Party platter x 1

Cold smoked trout x 2

Horseradish cream x 1

Creme fraiche 100g

 

Make a platter using above products, serve with sliced gherkins, sliced red spring onions and lime wedges, add the WW tartar sauce or horseradish cream.

To make the horseradish cream mix together with the creme fraiche
