Italian style sausage bake

Okay, so don’t let the cooking time of this recipe fool you into thinking it’s complicated. Because basically you pop some bangers in the oven to cook, and then you spend 10 minutes or so making a tomato sauce for them to cook in – and then you sit back

Ingredients
- 500g Woolworths Pork & Herb Bangers
- 2 x 400g tins canned cherry tomatoes
- 2 x green chillies, sliced
- 1 x garlic clove, diced
- Olive oil, to fry the garlic and chilli
- 1 x 400g tin cannellini beans, drained
- 200g sliced mozzarella
- salt and pepper

Cooking Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180°C. Once hot, bake the sausages for 20 minutes until golden.
- In a large saucepan over a medium heat sauté the garlic and chilli, add the tinned tomatoes and reduce slightly. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
- Place the sausages in the sauce, scatter with the drained beans and top with the sliced mozzarella. Place in the oven for 20 minutes until bubbly and golden.
