XXL Hot Cross Bun Ice Cream Cake

Ingredients

  • hot cross buns
  • 2 L Tin Roof Ice Cream
  • 150 g white chocolate drops
  • 150 g dark chocolate drops

Cooking Instructions

Use your preferred ice cream flavour. You could use any left over chocolate eggs to add to the drops. Or use chopped chocolate bars instead of drops. You can make this a week in advance,

  1. Take the ice cream out of the freezer and soften slightly.
  2. Place buns on tray.
  3. Carefully cut the hot cross buns through making sure to keep them in tact.
  4. Spoon the tub of ice cream over the bottom half.
  5. Then top with top half of buns.
  6. Wrap in cling wrap and freeze.
  7. Melt the chocolates.
  8. To serve, drizzle melted chocolates over so they marble slightly.
  9. Slice and serve.
