Men's Health signature burger

Ingredients

  • Lime,to squeeze over
  • 2 Avocados, flesh removed
  • 4 tbsp Jalapeno,sliced
  • 4 Woolworths brown seeded rolls, lightly toasted
  • 200 g lean back bacon, grilled until lightly crisp
  • sea salt and freshly ground pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 red onion, finely chopped
  • 80 g Watercress
  • 4 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 65 g parmesan, finely grated
  • 4 Woolworths beef burger patties

Cooking Instructions

  1. Add the burger patties to a mixing bowl, scatter in the parmesan and combine the cheese into the meat. Reshape into 4 equal sized patties.
  2. Heat the oil over a medium heat before adding the patties and frying for 2-3 minutes or until well caramelized. Turn over and cook the other side in the same way.
  3. Place the base of the base of the buns to a serving platter before adding the watercress, and scattering of red onion. Top with the burger patty then add some jalapeno and avocado then finish of with a squeeze of lime, seasoning and topping with the last half of the bun.
