Salt & pepper squid

Ingredients

  • 400 g woolworths calamari tubes and tentacles
  • sea salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 50 g rice flour
  • 50 g cornflour, mixed with 2 1/2 Tbsp cold water

Cooking Instructions

  1. Mix 50 g cornflour, 50 g rice flour, 1 T black pepper and 2 t salt.
  2. Toss with 400 g squid, then fry in batches in hot vegetable oil for 2 minutes or until golden.
  3. Serve with a green salad.
