Light and fresh grilled chicken burger

Ingredients

  • honey, to drizzle
  • 4 cups Woolworths fat free Ayrshire yoghurt
  • 550 g Woolworths bulk papaya and citrus fruit salad
  • 1/2 lemon, juiced
  • 450 g Woolworths herb salad, vegetables separated
  • Woolworths tangy light mayonnaise
  • 4 brown seeded rolls, lightly toasted
  • extra virgin olive oil, to brush
  • 4 Woolworths chicken burgers

Cooking Instructions

  1. To get the perfect cross hatch on a burger. Heat the griddle pan over a high heat. Brush the chicken patty with the olive oil before placing on the griddle pan.
  2. Allow the patty to cook for 2-3 minutes before checking if char lines have formed, if so carefully slice a spatula under the burger and turn it 90°C. Allow to cook for another 2-3 minutes before turning over a cooking the other side in the same manner.
  3. Slice through the buns before coating lightly with the mayonnaise. Add it to the griddle pan to toast for a few minutes.
  4. Add the lettuce from the salad selection to the base of the buns before layering the remaining vegetables. Top with the chicken patty and finish off with the tops of the buns.
  5. Serve with bulk papaya and citrus fruit salad on plain yoghurt with a drizzle of honey.
