Homemade Granola

Ingredients

  • 200 g dried apricots, chopped
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil
  • 60 ml low fat milk
  • 5 ml ground cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 200 ml dried coconut flakes
  • 250 ml mixed nuts, chopped, raw and unsalted
  • 100 ml sunflower seeds
  • 150 ml linseed
  • 100 ml sesame seeds
  • 250 ml rolled oats

Cooking Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C.
  2. Combine all the ingredients except the dried apricots and oats in a bowl and mix well.
  3. Allow the mixture to stand for 10 minutes, then add the oats, mix well again and spread out over a baking sheet.
  4. Roast the mixture for about 20 minutes, stirring it often, until it is golden.
  5. Remove from the oven, allow to cool and add the dried apricots.
  6. Store in an airtight container or jar.
