Gammon with chipolatas

Ingredients

  • Ready-to Cook Gammon
  • Streaky wood smoked bacon
  • 450 g Pork chipolatas
  • 4 large granny smith apple, sliced into 3 discs
  • 2 Tbsp flaky sea salt
  • 200 g white sugar
  • 3 cups canola oil

Cooking Instructions

  1. Cook the gammon according to package instructions. Heat 2 T canola oil in a pan over a medium heat, add the chipolatas and cook through. 
  2. Slice the gammon and serve with the chipolatas, salted toffee apples and pork crackling. 

To make the salted toffee apples:

Place the sugar in a non-stick pan over a medium heat. Allow the sugar to caramelise, then add the salt. Once the sugar is caramel in colour, pour it over the apples. 

To make the pork crackling:

Heat 2 T canola oil in a pan over a medium heat. Add the pork crackling and cook until hot and crisp.
