Rump steaks with mustard butter

Ingredients

  • 4 x 200 g beef rump steaks
  • 3 Tbsp butter
  • 2 Tbsp hot English mustard
  • 6 Tbsp parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 fresh lemon leaves
  • 2 tsp sea salt, plus extra to taste

Cooking Instructions

  1. Combine all the ingredients (except the rump steaks) for the butter, roll into a cylinder, cover with clingfilm and refrigerate.
  2. Place a soaked braai plank on the open flames. When it starts to smoke, place the rump on the planks and brown on both sides. Place a knob of mustard butter on each steak and allow to melt.
