Three-milk pudding

Ingredients

  • 180 g butter, softened
  • 1 cup castor sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • 5 eggs
  • 2 cups cake flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 cup sour milk
  • 1 cup condensed milk
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 2 tsp vanilla essence

Cooking Instructions

For the sponge:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  2. Cream the butter and sugar until soft and fluffy
  3. Add the vanilla and beat to combine
  4. Gradually add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition
  5. Sift together the flour and baking powder
  6. Add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture and mix until smooth
  7. Spoon the batter into a greased 20x30cm baking dish
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a skewer comes out clean

To make the milk sauce: 

  1. Pour the milk, condensed milk, evaporated milk into a saucepan
  2. Add vanilla and gently heat
  3. Remove the baked sponge from the oven
  4. Using a skewer make holes in the sponge
  5. Pour the warm three-milk sauce over the sponge
  6. Serve with whipped cream
