- 50 g Dark chocolate, chopped and melted
- fresh cream
- chocolate easter eggs
- 250 g fresh berries, to garnish
- easter sweets, chocolate mousse, or chocolate ice cream

Make the short crust pastry mixture according to the packaging instructions. Roll the pastry and fit into muffin/ cupcake pans. Blind bake by placing a piece of baking paper on top of each pastry cup in the pan and securing it by adding dry beans on top. Bake for 5 minutes, remove the beans and baking paper, and bake for a further 15 minutes until golden brown.
Place the cups on a cooling rack.
To make the ganache:
Melt the chocolate in a double boiler pot. Add the fresh cream and stir to mix. Set aside to slightly thicken and cool down.
Once the pastry cases are cool, fill with the chocolate ganache and top with Easter eggs and fresh berries. You may serve with the mousse or ice cream if you wish.
