Vanilla Chai Fudge

Ingredients

  • 385 g condensed milk
  • 2 tbsp golden syrup
  • 3 bags vanilla chai tea
  • 330 g granulated sugar
  • 60 g, plus extra for greasing butter

Cooking Instructions

  1. Grease a 20cm square tin with butter.
  2. Heat ¼ cup water with the sugar until the sugar dissolves. Tear the teabags and add the contents to the water.
  3. Add the 60g butter, golden syrup and condensed milk.
  4. Cook the mixture until it reaches 120ºC on a sugar thermometer, pour into a bowl and beat with an electric mixer until the mixture holds itself.
  5. Pour into the prepared tin to set.
  6. When set cut into pieces and serve.
