Ingredients

  • Chicken Shawarma
  • White Pita Bread
  • Mini Pita Breads
  • Mild Whole Peppadew Peppers
  • Harissa Humus

Cooking Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C. While you wait for it to heat up, chop some fresh veggies of your choice, lettuce, cucumber, whatever’s in your fridge.
  2. Remove the shawarma from its outer packaging and place it on a baking tray.
  3. Bake it in the cooking bag for 1 hour and 10 minutes. Remove it from the oven and carefully cut the cooking bag open.
    Save the sauces from the bag for later.
  4. Bake pita for 2 minutes in the oven at 180°C. Then slice the shawarma and pour the sauce over the slices.
  5. To assemble each shawarma: slice pitas into two and fill each half with fresh salad ingredients, sliced meat and hummus.
