Spaghetti and meatballs

Ingredients
- woolworths farmstyle boerewors about 1.5kg
- 2 tbsp canola oil
- 4 garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 2 tsp smoked chilli flakes
- 2 x 400 g italian canned tomatoes
- 3 tbsp italian herbs
- salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 2 x 500 g selected Italian Spaghetti, cooked to al dente
- parmesan, to serve (optional)

Cooking Instructions
- Remove the sausage meat from the casing and shape into meatballs, slightly smaller than a golf ball.
- Heat the oil over a medium heat before adding the meatballs and cooking until evenly browned all over. Add the garlic to the pan and cook for 2 minutes, cooking it gently being careful not to burn the garlic.
- Add the chilli, tinned tomatoes and Italian herbs then season lightly with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
- Simmer gently for about 15 minutes before tasting if extra seasoning is needed.
- Serve the sauce and meatballs over the cooked pasta with Parmesan on the side as an option.
