Meet the RE: Show Them ambassadors: Ofentse Pitse, Charnelle Paulse and Morongoa
Mahope. From conducting scores for Alicia Keys, to starting the world’s first curve
modeling school and racing a superbike, these South African women are smashing down
boundaries, rewriting the narrative and showing them. That history can be rewritten.
That rules must be broken. That self-doubt is not an option.
MEET MORONGOA MAHOPE AKA THE LIMPOPO EXPRESS
Accountant by day, badass biker afterhours, Morongoa is the first Black female superbike
racer in South Africa. Mo is redefining her sport and making space for young women to
thrive on the track. Mo’s advice to young women? Show them flames.
MEET CHARNELLE PAULSE
Charnelle is the founder of the world’s first curve modeling school, CP Curve School.
Through her work with South African women, Charnelle is changing the game one curve
at a time. “I’m changing the narrative of what we were taught to think about our bodies.
This is my destiny.†Show them your legacy.
MEET OFENTSE PITSE
As a black female conductor in the male-dominated space of orchestral music, Ofentse
fought hard to be seen. Today she’s conducting scores with Alicia Keys and is the founder
of her own all-black orchestra, Anchored Sound. In her own words, Ofentse wants to be
remembered as a “creative visionary and a badass conductorâ€.
Show them history in the making.
