Shake things up, cool things down! Master the “IT MOCKTAILS” of the season.

  • Granadilla Yuzu Mojito

    INGREDIENTS:

    • Pulp of 2 grenadillas
    • 6 T Yuzu cordial
    • 4 T non-alcoholic gin
    • 250 ml Coconut sparkling water
    • zest of 1 lime
    • 1 t Maldon salt
    • Lime peel to garnish

    METHOD:

    1. Place the granadilla pulp, cordial and gin into a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake well. 
    2. Dip the one side of the top of the glasses into a little of some Yuzu cordial and then to the lime salt
    3. Pour the shaken mixture into tumblers. Fill with sparkling water and garnish with a piece of lime peel.
    4. To make the lime salt, mix the zest and salt together.

  • Frozen Peach Daiquiri

    INGREDIENTS:

    • 2 ripe peaches, cut into cubes and frozen
    • 6 T peach cordial
    • 2 T lime juice
    • Gooseberries, frozen to garnish

    METHOD:

    1. Blend the peaches with the cordial and lime juice.
    2. Freeze until ready to use.
    3. Spoon into coupe glasses.
    4. Thread some gooseberries onto cocktail sticks and place on top.

  • Cherry Sour

    INGREDIENTS:

    • 5 T cherry cordial
    • 2 T lime juice
    • 250 ml tonic water
    • 4 T Abstinence Cape Citrus
    • Fresh cherries or marachino to garnish

    METHOD:

    1. Place the ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice and shake.
    2. Pour into glasses and garnish with cherries thread onto a cocktail stick.

  • Smoky Negroni

    INGREDIENTS:

    • 6 T negroni cordial
    • 4 T Abstinence blood orange bittersweet aperitif
    • 1 t smoked salt
    • 1 can San Pelligrino sparkling blood orange
    • Preserved oranges or orange slices

    METHOD:

    1. Place the cordial, Abstinence and salt into a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake and pour into glasses. 
    2. Top with blood orange drink and a wedge or slice of orange.
    3. If you like, burn the orange slightly using a blowtorch for extra smokiness.

  • Espresso Martini with Dalgona Crema

    INGREDIENTS: 

    • 125 ml brewed coffee, chilled
    • 4 T Espresso martini cordial
    • 1 t vanilla paste
    • 2 t powdered coffee
    • 2 t sugar
    • 1 ½ T water
    • Crushed coffee beans for garnish

    METHOD:

    1. Place the coffee, syrup and vanilla paste in a cocktail shaker with 6 cubes ice. Shake.
    2. Dip the rims of two martini glasses in coffee and then in crushed coffee beans.
    3. Pour in the coffee and add a dollop of crema.
    4. To make the crema: Using a beater or whisk, mix the powdered coffee, sugar and water together until thick and foamy.
