FIND YOUR WHEY
There’s no need to feel confused about the wide variety of plain yoghurts available at Woolies. Here’s a short guide to the new labels and the best way to use each yoghurt type:
WOOLWORTHS DOUBLE-CREAM YOGHURT (FORMERLY DOUBLE-CREAM GREEK): Thick and creamy, this yoghurt is perfect for cooking or in side dishes. Its thick texture makes it an ideal addition to salads and a cooling refreshment to spicy foods.
WOOLWORTHS FAT-FREE PLAIN YOGHURT: This yoghurt adds tangy flavour to sauces.
WOOLWORTHS LOW-FAT PLAIN YOGHURT: Pair this with fruit and sweet sauces, or use it in savoury sauces or dips such as tzatziki.
WOOLWORTHS FULL-CREAM AYRSHIRE PLAIN YOGHURT: This can be used in cakes and as a substitute for cream in most dishes.
WOOLWORTHS FAT-FREE AYRSHIRE PLAIN YOGHURT: Stir through a drizzle of honey to make a sweet topping for the likes of waffles and cakes. It also works well as a base for sauces.
WOOLWORTHS LOW-FAT CREAM-FLAVOURED YOGHURT: Serve this yoghurt with fruit or granola, or use in smoothies.
