(MOM)osas, anyone?

Mimosas are the essential brunch cocktail and make the perfect drink for Mother's Day (or any day!). Woolworths TASTE food director Abigail Donnelly's recipes include a mocktail and a zingy mimosa topped with ice cream.

 

 

Coconut ClemenGold Mimosa

Makes 8
Preparation: 10 minutes

INGREDIENTS:

  • 3 cups ClemenGold Juice
  • 750 ml Prosecco, chilled
  • 500 ml dairy-free vanilla flavoured coconut ice cream
  • 1 lime, sliced, to garnish

METHOD:

Divide the ClemenGold juice between 8 glasses, top with Prosecco and add a scoop of ice cream. Garnish with lime slices.

Icy mimosa and lemongrass mocktail

Makes 8
Preparation: 10 minutes

 

INGREDIENTS:

  • 8 tsp Ginger-and-lemongrass flavoured syrup
  • 750 ml Cold-pressed 100% vitamin C orange juice, chilled
  • 750 ml non-alcoholic sparkling wine, chilled
  • gooseberries, to garnish

METHOD:

Pour 1 tsp syrup into each glass and add some crushed ice. Add the orange juice and sparkling wine, then garnish with gooseberries.

Classic Mimosa

Makes 8
Preparation:10 minutes

INGREDIENTS:

  • 3 cups 100% orange juice, chilled
  • 4 T orange liqueur, (optional)
  • 750 ml sparkling wine, chilled
  • grapefruit, sliced to garnish

METHOD:

Divide the orange juice between chilled glasses, then add the liqueur if using. Top with sparkling wine and garnish with grapefruit slices.
