Bake a fun, multi coloured eggs cake

Bake this indulgently wicked cake. It’s fun, it’s super easy (confession: we’re using a cake mix), and it’s loaded with multi coloured eggs. Yes please.

Take one Woolworths Free From Gluten Vanilla Cake Mix and follow the instructions:

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Mix 2 free range eggs with 140 ml milk and ⅔ cup of oil. Combine with the dry ingredients from the cake mix. Next, loosely fold in 50 g rainbow sprinkles. Pour into a greased 20 cm spring form cake tin and bake for 35 minutes until golden brown (cover with tinfoil if the cake starts to darken too much). Leave aside to cool.

For the icing:

Cream 65 g softened unsalted butter for 5 minutes. Add icing mix from your baking kit. Finish off with 1 tablespoon hot milk, beating for another 3–5 minutes. Spread icing over the cake. Now for the fun part: go to town with Woolworths Speckled and Giant Speckled Eggs. Ta da!
