Christmas roasts made super easy
Keep things simple but spectacular this summer with our wide range of ready-to-enjoy Christmas foods, especially our easy-to-cook Christmas roasts. Give yours a personal touch: simply prep, roast, customise and style. Your Christmas lunch has never looked this good.
Delicious duck roast:
STEP 1: PREP – prepare a honey butter basting by mixing 120g melted butter with ½ cup honey; brush over one whole free range duck with Chinese 5 spice.
STEP 2: ROAST – cook the duck in the oven at 180°C for 1.5 to 2 hours. Continue to baste while roasting.
STEP 3: CUSTOMISE – add leeks, peeled dessert peaches and sage to the roast for the final 30 minutes.
STEP 4: STYLE – simmer blueberries in a mix of water, honey and vanilla pods until syrupy, and spoon over the duck. Dig in!
Luscious leg of lamb roast:
STEP 1: PREP – simply follow the packaging instructions.
STEP 2: ROAST – place the lamb in the oven and roast for 90 minutes at 180°C.
STEP 3: CUSTOMISE – add halved and quartered beetroots and red onions to the tray for the final 40 minutes of cooking, followed by kale leaves for the last 5–10 minutes.
STEP 4: STYLE: – drizzle with fresh salsa verde or basil pesto and present your masterpiece!
