Spoil dad with some smokin’ stokbrood

This Father’s Day, spoil dad with some homemade stokbrood on the braai – with lots of melty Camembert on the side. Equal amounts easy and impressive, you’re sure to get the #favouritechild award.

Simple stokbrood:

Combine 500 g flour with 1 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda and 1 teaspoon salt. Rub in 30 g cold cubed butter. Add 2 cups plain yoghurt and knead until smooth and soft. Divide the dough into tennis-size balls. Twist pieces of dough onto skewers, nice and tight. Hover them over the hot coals, turning until they’re nice and toasty.

Oozy Camembert:

Place a whole camembert into a skillet and warm over the coals until it starts to melt. Add honey and vanilla and get ready to dip.

Finally, serve it all with a yummy glass of De Morgenzon Pinot Noir.
