This pork shoulder roast is totally effortless
What do we want for Christmas? More time at the table, less time in the kitchen. Presenting: the easiest ever pork roast, the perfect summer feast.
Easy pork roast:
The star of your show will be the Easy to Cook Pork Shoulder Roast with a sweet & sticky BBQ glaze.
To start, heat the oven to 180°C. Add some giant garlic cloves to a roasting dish, add the meat and sliced red onions. Roast for 30 minutes per 500 g, plus 25 minutes extra, and drizzle with the BBQ glaze for the last 10 minutes of cooking.
Meanwhile, make a festive salad: Heat olive oil in a pan and add a few handfuls of baby rainbow carrots and radishes. Fry until warmed through, 5-10 minutes. Make a dressing with 3 tablespoons of olive oil, a squeeze of honey and lemon, and 1 tablespoon harissa paste. In a serving dish, spread labneh cheese to taste, top with the warm veggies and drizzle with the dressing. Scatter with micro herbs.
To serve: Allow the meat to stand/rest for 10 minutes before carving. Add fennel curls to the pan and drizzle with the pan juices. Serve with the veg salad and enjoy!
