Courgettes, also known as baby marrows, are one of the unsung heroes of the veggie world, especially if you’re watching your kilojoules. That’s because of their high water content. They’re also a source of a number of phytonutrients, those essential vitamins and minerals we all need, while their skins are a high in soluble fibre. At Woolies you’ll find courgettes in a wide variety of guises: whole, sliced, or spiralised, as well as in a number of seasonal vegetable mixes and prepared dishes. 

7 ways to enjoy courgettes

1.    Slice in half, sprinkle with olive oil, salt and pepper, and roast
2.    Chop finely and add to bolognaise sauce
3.    Replace pasta with baby marrow spaghetti
4.    Add to ratatouille
5.    Hollow out partially cooked halves, stuff with feta and spinach, and grill
6.    Slice and use as a pizza topping
7.    Dip slices into tempura batter and fry
