#EatWell challenge: berries

Each week we’re challenging you to #EatWell. Take up the challenge and add a new addition to your diet.

This week our focus is berries. There is a robust variety you can choose from at Woolies – think blueberries, raspberries, blackberries and strawberries – each one bursting with fresh flavour. Berries have high levels of phytochemicals – those naturally occurring nutrients that give berries their intense colour.

7 ways to enjoy berries

  1. Make a smoothie
  2. Eat as a snack or part of a meal
  3. Freeze them (and enjoy anytime)
  4. Make sauces and jams
  5. Puree and set in an ice trays
  6. Pop berries into a tub of plain yoghurt
  7. Make a banana split with berries and yoghurt
