This prawn platter is a (fantastic) vibe
Silly season is here and we’re celebrating with a spectacular prawn platter. There will be prawn toast. And prawn potstickers. And tempura prawns. And it will be beyond delicious.
Ingredients:
Garlic & lime prawn toasties
1 packet of Woolies Frozen Garlic Prawns
6 slices of white bread
A knob of butter, to fry the bread
Splash of olive oil, to fry the bread
3 T white sesame seeds, toasted
3 T black sesame seeds, toasted
½ cup cream cheese
Fresh lime juice, to serve
For the potstickers:
Woolies Frozen Potstickers with Prawns
Woolworths Vietnamese-style Dressing or
Woolworths Asian Salad Dressing
For the tempura prawns:
Woolworths Tempura Snack with Prawns
2T Gochujang paste
½ cup of thick and creamy mayo for a dipping sauce
Method:
Garlic & lime prawn toasties:
- Cook the prawns according to packaging instructions.
- Remove the crusts from the bread and cut into triangles. Heat the olive oil and butter in a non-stick pan and fry the bread until golden.
- Spread with cream cheese and sprinkle with the sesame seeds. Top with garlic prawns (shell and tails removed) and a squeeze of lemon or lime juice.
For the potstickers:

Cook one packet of Woolies Frozen Potstickers with Prawns to package instructions and serve with a choice of dipping sauces: Woolworths Vietnamese-style Dressing or Woolworths Asian Salad Dressing.
For the tempura prawns:
- Heat one packet of Woolworths Tempura Snack with Prawns to package instructions. Mix 2 T Gochujang paste with ½ cup of thick and creamy mayo for a dipping sauce. Dip away!
