The Woolies Towel Guide
Nothing says home like a soft, fluffy towel. But which type of towel is right for you? Do you prefer something plush and cuddly? Or lightweight and quick-drying?
There are a couple of factors to consider when choosing an everyday towel for your home. One of the key factors is the fabric, which determines the texture and absorbency of the towel. Read our guide to towels to find your favourite.

Cotton
Cotton is the most widely used fabric in towel construction, and for good reason. Cotton is durable and highly absorbent. Cotton can be used on its own or blended with other fabrics, such as linen or bamboo
Egyptian cotton towels
Towels made with Egyptian cotton are luxuriously soft and highly durable due to their extra-long cotton fibres. Egyptian cotton towels absorb water easily due to the dense makeup of the fibres. These incredibly plush, luxurious towels get softer with every use.
Bamboo/ cotton blend towels
Often blended with cotton, towels made from bamboo are highly absorbent and breathable. Bamboo towels are up to 3 times more absorbent than cotton towels. Bamboo is a sustainable, natural fibre, which means it has a low environmental impact. Bamboo is also naturally antibacterial, hypoallergenic and has thermal regulating properties.
