This blackberry sauce is absolutely delicious

You would not believe how versatile (and easy!) this berry sauce is. Use it over desserts like ice cream, use it over baked cheese, you can even use it over roasted meats – the options are endless!

Ultimate blackberry sauce

Preparation: 5 minutes, plus

Cooking: 30 minutes

Ingredients:

  • Woolworths blackberries, 2 x 160 g punnets
  • Sugar 130 g
  • Water ¼ cup
  • Limes 2, zested and juiced

Method:

  1. Place all ingredients into a small saucepan and bring to a simmer over a medium heat. Simmer until the mixture has thickened and is syrupy. Set aside to cool. Store in a
  2. jar in the fridge. Serve spooned over ice cream, or warm baked cheese like camembert, or even use it as a delicious cordial for summer, topped with sparkling water and fresh lime.
