Bring on the heat! These crispy harissa-and-lime prawn skewers will be ready in under 30 minutes

These prawn skewers are delicious on their own as a snack or accompanied by fragrant coconut jasmine rice and fresh greens.

Crispy harissa-and-lime prawn skewers

Serves 4 
Preparation: 15 minutes 
Cooking: 25 minutes 

Ingredients:

  • 500 g Woolworths Freshly Frozen Uncooked Extra Large Black Tiger Prawns, thawed and cleaned
  • 3 T olive oil
  • Salt, to taste
  • 140 g Woolworths Spicy Harissa Red Pepper Paste
  • 3 limes
  • Woolworths Coconut Jasmine Rice, for serving (optional)
     

Cooking instructions:

  1. Thread 5 prawns onto each skewer, drizzle with olive oil and season with salt. 
  2.  Heat up a flattop grill on the braai and cook the prawns for 3–4 minutes on each side, or until pink and cooked through.
  3. Spoon over the harissa and cook for another 3 minutes. 
  4. Remove from the braai and squeeze over the limes. 
  5. Serve as a snack or with a fresh dill potato salad or Woolworths Coconut Jasmine Rice.
