A quick dinner of trout and Tenderstem™
Heads up, this dinner of roasted trout, Tenderstem™ broccoli and bulgur wheat with roast butternut is quickly going to land on your go-to list for dinner. It’s easy, it’s loaded with flavour, and it comes together in a wink.

Ingredients:
- 4 Woolworths Rainbow Trout Portions
- Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 2 T olive oil
- 1 x 450 g pack bulgur wheat and roasted butternut, warmed to package instructions
- Lemon juice, for serving
- 1 x 230 g pack Woolworths Tenderstem™ Broccoli
- fresh Italian parsley, for serving
Method:
- Season the trout and pan-fry the trout in the olive oil, skin side down, until crispy (about 3–5 minutes) in a non-stick pan, then turn over and fry for a further 30 seconds to 1 minute.
- Blanch the broccoli and serve with the trout and bulgur wheat and roast butternut.
- Squeeze over the lemon juice and sprinkle with parsley.
