Rotisserie chicken load shedding dinners

Chicken and rice bowls

Ingredients:
- 200 g Woolworths Heat & Eat Coconut Jasmine Rice
- Woolworths Rotisserie chicken, legs and wings
- 1 Woolworths Mediterranean Cucumber, peeled and thinly sliced
- 1 Woolworths Lime, juiced
- 1 t Woolworths Organic Sesame Oil
- Pinch of sea salt, to season
- 1 green chilli, sliced
- Toasted sesame seeds, to serve
- ½ red onion, sliced
- Woolworths Fresh Mint, to serve
- Woolworths Fresh Coriander, to serve
Cooking instructions:
- Heat the rice according to package instructions (if you know load shedding will be kicking in, warm your rice and chicken 5 minutes before the power goes off and eat at room temperature or alternatively heat your rice before leaving for work that morning and decant into a container so it’s ready for dinner when you get home, simply pick up a rotisserie chicken on your way home).
- For the cucumber salad toss together the cucumber, lime, sesame oil, chilli, salt, red onion and sesame seeds to marinate. Serve with warm fragrant rice, oven warmed rotisserie chicken and lots of soft herbs to top!
Asian-style slaw chicken noodle lettuce cups

Ingredients:
- 2 x 64 g Woolworths Sesame Chicken Flavoured Noodle Cups
- Woolworths Rotisserie Chicken Breasts, sliced
- Handful Woolworths CrunchitaTM Lettuce, separated
- 160 g Woolworths Crunchy Asian-style Slaw
- Thai Peanut Sauce
- Woolworths Crispy Onions Sprinkle
Cooking instructions:
- Cook and heat your noodles according to packaging instructions by pouring over boiling water (keep your seasoning aside for sprinkling over future bowls of popcorn). If you know load shedding will be kicking in, cook your noodles 5 minutes before the power goes off and eat at room temperature or alternatively cook your noodles before leaving for work that morning and decant into a container so it’s ready for dinner when you get home. Pick up a rotisserie chicken on your way home.
- Toss the salad together and assemble with noodles, lettuce cups and dipping sauce.
- Sprinkle over crispy onions and enjoy!
Ceaser chicken wraps
Ingredients:
- Leftover Woolworths Rotisserie Chicken, shredded
- 90 g Woolworths Pickled Red Onion Petals
- 4 Mini Multiseed Wraps
- 180 g Woolworths Salt & Black Pepper Croutons
- Cos lettuce, shredded to serve
- 50 g Woolworths Pecorino Romano Medium Fat Hard Cheese Shavings
- Woolworths Ceaser Dressing
Cooking instructions:
- Shred the remaining chicken and serve up in a delicious, chargrilled wrap, with crunchy cos lettuce, salty pecorino shavings, croutons and tangy pink pickled onions, finish off with a generous drizzle of salad dressing and season to taste.
